ย I loved the mould making workshop and Jesse Hughes’ view on AI collaborative work and how it can elevate creative storytelling and production through easy accessibility. It gave me a clearer understanding how AI will, and is rapidly changing both the workforce and education. Jessie Hughes, Senior Creative Technologist at Leonardo. Ai, views the future of AI as a transformative force in the creative industries. She emphasizes that generative AI should be seen as a “superpower” for artists, enhancing their creative capabilities rather than replacing them. Hughes advocates for artists to embrace AI tools, suggesting that those who do will lead the way in innovative creative practices. In her discussions, Hughes highlights the importance of integrating AI into creative workflows. She has shared insights on how Leonardo. Ai’s platform can streamline content creation, making it more accessible for artists and small business owners. By democratizing creativity, AI tools enable a broader range of individuals to produce high-quality content efficiently.

Furthermore, Hughes has contributed to industry conversations about the evolving role of AI in art. She explored the emotional and human dimensions of AI-generated art, discussing how AI is reshaping artistic intention, process, and recognition.

Overall, Hughes envisions a future where AI serves as a collaborative tool that amplifies human creativity, leading to a more inclusive and innovative creative landscape. The next morning’s talk by Ocampo further emphasised how we need to use AI as a collaborator to human creativity and he quoted the “artist as gardener- planting seeds”.

And yes AI helped me write this ๐Ÿ™‚
