The Art Educators of the Northern Territory (AENT) is a non-profit association that was established in 1978. AENT is an incorporated organisation dedicated to supporting NT Visual Arts educators and promoting the advancement of Visual Arts related educational practices in the Northern Territory.
AENT is specifically intended for teachers and educators involved with the promotion of Visual Arts in the NT. Our members include NT schools and teachers (public and private); NT Arts related cultural institutions; and individuals and local artists engaged in promoting Visual Arts education.
Through various initiatives—including projects, conferences, workshops, professional learning opportunities, meetings, and online platforms—the association provides valuable support to primary, middle, and secondary school teachers.
