In this one course participants will be introduced to a range of techniques for combining watercolour, graphite and coloured pencil to produce detailed illustrations around a botanical theme. Participants will learn how to build colour details with watercolour washes whilst building form and volume using graphite and then adding finer details and textures using a combination of graphite and coloured pencil. Participants will also learn tips to increasing efficiency in the different stages of rendering a botanical illustration.

Some materials and equipment will be provided however participants will be provided with a materials list as well for things that they will need to bring to the workshop.
You will be using graphite, watercolour and pencil
