Artist Statement:
Little things can have a huge global impact. Our throwaway plastics and technology are creating a man-made stratum—the Anthropocene—depicted in this piece through a suggested cross-section landscape with technofossils embedded in the Earth’s layers. The technofossils in the drawers mimic a museum display, evoking the somber idea of our traces being on show in the future like relics.
