SHAUN LEE
DARWIN-BORN MURAL ARTIST
Darwin born, Larrakia man Shaun Lee is an established, self-taught artist who originally was a tattoo artist before moving into the field of mural art full time. Shaun has been painting murals for as long as he can remember however has only started working with spray painted murals in the last two years.
Shaun is a member of the Proper Creative artists collective and he has collaborated with Jessie Bell and David Collins to create many of the murals that have recently been completed around Darwin’s CBD.
Art Educators of the NT and Territory Wildlife Park are co-hosting and offering AENT members an amazing opportunity to undertake a 3 day workshop with Shaun to learn and actually complete a mural that will be created for the Educational Hut at Camp Woollybutt within the grounds of the Territory Wildlife Park.
