Artist Statement:

‘Balance’ is an exploration of our interaction and effect on habitat and wildlife. Migratory waders that travel vast distances to our shores may appear to be prevalent but are actually disappearing and becoming extinct. This works is intended to highlight the plight of the overwintering waders and wishes to draw attention to the effect we each have on nature’s balance.
